Diana is the Goddess of the hunt, the wild and the underworld. She is a Moon Goddess and her name in Latin means ‘Goddess of light and of the moon’. The phases of the moon are seen as Diana transitioning the light into dark and back again. Birth, death and rebirth.
Although she is a Maiden Goddess due to swearing she would not marry and claiming chastity, she is also a Goddess that helps with fertility and childbirth. Women would pray to her to help them fall pregnant and have an easy childbirth. Diana protects mothers and children and was also known as Lucina.
Diana will help you love your self and be free and wild. She will help you to look deep within and not judge yourself or compare yourself to others, for you are enough and worthy. Helping you to self care and love yourself completely, she will show you the cycle of death and rebirth through going deeper and deeper within, facing your truths and letting go to become a better, stronger and more happier you.

Meditation to connect with Diana
Put on some relaxing music and get comfortable. Take three deep breaths, relaxing your whole body. Hold your intention in connecting to Diana. You could say this in your head three times, ‘My intention is to connect with Diana the Goddess of the Hunt.’
Imagine you are in a grove of big Oak trees. It is dark as its night and looking up you can see the clear night sky with all the stars twinkling. The crescent moon is there too and as you look more closely at it you can she there is a woman there and that the moon is actually her bow. You also notice there are animals with her too up there. She then looks down at you and smiles. ‘Hello Dear One. I am Diana, Goddess of the hunt and the moon. I rule the sky and the forests and look after all the animals, plants and trees. Come up here and I will show you.’ You then start floating up towards her. When you reach her, she takes your hand and takes you on a journey.
Once your journey finishes and you have spoken to her. You thank Diana and she leaves you in the grove. When you are ready, take three deep breaths and come back to the room.
Write down your experience. What was she like? What journey did she take you on? Did she have a message for you? Did she answer your questions? What were the animals that surrounded her?
How to connect with Diana
Here are a few ways you can connect with the Goddess Diana.
Meditation
Using meditation you can connect to Diana. Just use the meditation above or choose one you feel drawn to. You can also sit, close your eyes and take deep breaths to help you relax. Set your intention to connect with her and then see what happens. Feel the energy around you, notice anything that comes to you. This will take practice, but the more you do it the more you will feel her with you.
Create an Altar
Find a space where you can set up a small altar. Somewhere you can visit each day and wont be disturbed. Decorate with a figurine of Diana, crystals and a candle or anything you feel drawn to that you associate with her. Try to visit daily and take five minutes to connect.
Sit in Nature
Find a quiet spot outdoors among Nature and just be. Set your intention to connect with Diana and close your eyes and feel the energy there. Look around you and see what you notice.
Dance
Find some music that reminds you of the wild, maybe drumming and let yourself go with the flow. Dance to the beat, feel your body move and let it take you on a journey through movement.
