The Triple Goddess has three aspects, Maiden, Mother and Crone. She is all three and will change from each one into the other when the time calls or will be all three at once. Each aspect has its own wisdom and teachings. You can connect to them as one or call on one aspect as an individual. She may come to you also as all three in one, or one of the aspects. However she wishes to show herself or it might depend on what you need at the time.
She is the phases of the Moon, Waxing (Maiden), Full (Mother) and Waning (Crone). The cycle of life, Birth, Life and Death (and rebirth). She is all knowing and has so much wisdom. From teaching you to have fun, becoming who you really are, to Mothering you and helping you with your issues, to finding and helping you listen to your inner voice, your inner wisdom and intuition.
The Maiden represents youth, new beginnings, enchantment, fun, carefree, excitement and finding yourself. Specific Goddesses who are Maidens are Artemis, Persephone and Nimue as well as many others.
The Mother represents fertility, abundance, fulfillment, stability, creation, destruction, motherhood, nurturing, growth and life itself. Specific Goddesses who are Mothers are Demeter, Frigga, Gaia and Isis as well as many more.
The Crone represents wisdom, compassion, transformation, dark, shadow, destruction, death and rebirth. Specific Goddesses who are Crones are Cerridwen, The Cailleach and Kali as well as many more.
So who are the Triple Goddesses? There are a few that are known as the Triple Goddess and have all three phases, such as Hecate, The Morrigan, Brigid, The Three Fates. There are also many that are put together as triple Goddesses but as individuals, such as in Egyptian Mythology, Bast (Maiden), Hathor (Mother) and Sekhmet (Crone). I will not go into the specifics here, but I have listed some resources for you to find out more about them if you so wish. I am sure they will be popping up in the future on this year long journey, so watch out for future posts.

The Triple Goddess Meditation
Find a place where you won’t be disturbed. Light a candle and some incense to focus. Sit, close your eyes and relax. Take three deep breaths. Set your intention to meet and connect with The Triple Goddess. Say in your mind ‘My intention is to connect with The Triple Goddess.’ Say this three times.
Imagine you are in a forest. The sun is shining through the trees, the wind is whispering and you can hear the birds and bees. In front of you, you see a big tree and it looks different from the rest. How does it look different? You decide to go to it and sit with it. Sitting with the tree, you are so at peace, you could sit here all day. As you sit and relax, soaking in the feelings of bliss, you hear a voice. It says ‘I am here.’ You look around and see someone coming out from behind the tree. Who is it? Is it the Triple Goddess, is it one of her aspects, Maiden, Mother or Crone or all three in three individual bodies?
Take sometime to talk to the Goddess/Goddesses that have greeted you. Listen to them, ask questions.
After a while and when you are finished talking and connecting, you thank her/them and she/they disappear behind the tree.
When you are ready, take three deep breaths and come back to the room.
Write down your experience. Who came to connect with you? Was it all aspects? Was it just one of them? Or was it one who represents all three? What message did you receive? Were your questions answered? What else happened?
How to connect with the Triple Goddess
Meditation/Drum Journey
Using the meditation above or one you have found that you are drawn to, you can connect with the Triple Goddess or one of her aspects. You can also do a drum journey by drumming for yourself or finding a drumming journey cd/mp3. Close your eyes, relax and while drumming or listening to the drum imagine you are at an Oak Tree. You step inside the Oak Tree and set your intention to meet with one of her aspects, Maiden, Mother or Crone. Start to go down into the Earth through an opening at the back of the tree. Going round and round, deeper and deeper, faster and faster until you come to you lower world. Once you are there you will meet the Goddess. This is a journey, so will take you where it is supposed to go and you just need to relax and go with the flow. Once you have finished meeting her, come back the way you came and return to the Oak Tree. Write down your experience. You can do three journeys, one for each aspect and get to know them individually.
Sacred Space
Create a special place where you can connect daily. Decorate with things you associate with her and spend time connecting.
Sit in Nature

How the Triple Goddess will help you
The Triple Goddess will help you in many ways. She will help you be joyful and find the playful side of yourself. Helping you and advising you like a Mother. She will guide you in your life’s journey and has much wisdom to share. Call on her when ever you need some guidance or someone to just listen. When you need more fun and play time in your life. Call on her when you wish to seek your inner wisdom. When ever you feel you need to and she will be there, either as an aspect of her triple self or all three together.
